David Evans, MRICS, Lead Assessor

As a member of our assessment services team, David performs property and facility condition assessments in the D.C. metro area and across the United States. Working in tandem with several architecture and engineering firms, his first project involves delivering facility condition assessment reports to Prince George’s County in Maryland.

David, who is from England and moved to the U.S. in 2017, is a Chartered Building Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Surveying at Northumbria University in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where his course studies focused on the architectural elements of building assessments. His work experience since graduating expanded his knowledge to include mechanical and electrical installations and special elements such as elevators.

He finds a healthy work/life balance by exploring D.C. and northern Virginia food and drink venues with his wife and friends and enjoys cooking, baking, and brewing craft beer, which he swears is quite good. Warmer weather will find him enjoying the sun and sea in Ocean City, Maryland, and attempting to improve his golf game.
