Certifications

Multiple certifications as a small business facilitate teaming on public projects. Certifying agencies include the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity; the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority; the Maryland Department of Transportation, Office of Minority Business Enterprise; the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey; and the State of New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services.

We are also self-certified as a small business at the federal level per the Small Business Administration’s size standards for government contracting eligibility pertaining to NAICS codes 236220 and 541611.

Axias is certified through the Small, Women-owned, and Minority-owned Business (SWaM) certification program of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The purpose of this certification is to enhance procurement opportunities for SWaM businesses participating in state-funded projects.

Axias is certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation, Office of Minority Business Enterprise as a Small Business Enterprise eligible to provide services under NAICS codes 236220 and 541611.

 

Port Authority NY NJ

Axias is certified by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a Small Business Enterprise in the category of Other - Construction Consulting Services. The certification remains in effect until February 16, 2025.

 

State of New Jersey

The Department of the Treasury, Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services has approved Axias as a Category 1 Small Business. The certification is in effect until July 14, 2024.
