Located in Brooklyn’s trendy Vinegar Hill neighborhood, 260 Gold Street is a 13-story, 286-unit apartment building constructed in 2021. It contains studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, 30 percent of which are set aside as affordable housing units.
In preparation for purchasing the property — a deal that closed on June 9, 2022—investment partners KKR and Dalan Management hired Axias to perform a detailed property condition assessment. We were tasked with finding deferred maintenance and construction issues and projecting out capital expenditures for the next 10 years.
