Martin Jacobs, MRICS, Principal

One of Axias’ founding principals, Martin serves as chief estimator and project executive on construction projects ranging from government, commercial, and education to aviation, cultural, and hospitality. A veteran of the construction industry since 1992, his emphasis has been on conceptual and program budgeting, detailed milestone design estimating, assessing market conditions, and measuring and producing bills of quantities.

His experience extends to anti-terrorism and force protection construction estimating and associated planning workshops; and cost management, value engineering, and change orders related to architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical work. He is skilled in the use of government software programs such as MII (Second Generation MCACES), SUCCESS, and PACES in budget planning, feasibility studies, blast, and security analysis, and detailed construction cost management estimating.
