Improvements to this iconic 158-unit cooperative residential complex were wide-ranging. Although renovations to the main lobby and concierge area were highly visible, much of the necessary work was invisible and involved building systems.
Energy conservation measures addressed lighting replacement, fan-coil unit rehabilitation, new HVAC controls, and window replacement. Extensive structural repairs involved balconies and exterior post-tensioned reinforcements, exterior wall coatings, and sealant replacement.
Axias provided services on this carefully phased project over a two-year period beginning in 2014.
