This new fire station, which opened in January, serves an assortment of industrial sites, residential neighborhoods, commercial businesses, and Interstate 66 in the Groveton area.

Designed to house 45 career staff providing round-the-clock coverage in shifts, Station 22 incorporates four drive-through apparatus bays, 17 individual bunk rooms with six gender-neutral toilet/shower rooms, an exercise room, training classroom, an open concept kitchen and dining, and a three-story hose drying and training tower.
