Picatinny Arsenal is planning improvements of its existing entry gates at this weapons storage facility. Cost estimates were provided for 4 Access Control Points (ACP) at the Arsenal. Each ACP comprised of various improvements including but not limited to regrading of site, landscaping, demolition of existing access roads and construction of new roads and roundabouts, new guard booths, new gate houses, new vehicle inspection stations and overhead structures, new utilities including site lighting, power distribution, water supply, crash barriers for vehicular access control and security. Cost estimating data was used to prepare a FY Military Construction Project Data Form (DD 1391). The project employed ECONPAK, an economic analysis computer package that incorporates calculations, documentation and reporting capabilities in support of DoD funding requests.
