After Ground-breaking in June of this year, construction started soon after on the George Mason High School Mustang’s new home. In order to make way for the foundation work, the majority of an estimated 50,000 cubic yards of dirt was to be excavated and hauled away from the site. Working efficiently on excavation and underground utilities contractors met their schedule goal and foundations were started for the new multi-story building. Foundations and below grade walls are well underway and steel will be starting shortly.
