Hanscomb Consulting is serving as the cost project manager throughout the design and pre-construction phase of the project and will serve as the construction project manager for the duration of the project. The George Mason High School project consists of building a multi-story 21st Century designed high school on the existing school site adjacent to Falls Church City’s middle school. Surrounding the new school, the construction of new tennis courts, turf multi-purpose field, and softball field will occur as well as general site improvements. Parking will be reconfigured, and new walkways will connect the middle and high school athletic fields. The existing high school will be demolished with an economic development to replace it through public private partnership with the city. The new George Mason High School is set to be complete in Summer 2021.
