This project comprised a three-phase, six year, $150m historic renovation and building systems replacement for one of the largest buildings in the Federal Triangle. Headquarters of the Department of Justice, with offices of the Solicitor and Attorney General. Main Justice was built in the 1930's, and contains the largest display of artwork of any Federal office building in the U.S.
Major elements of the project include cleaning and restoration of the historical facade with all new hardscape, all new mechanical, life-safety and electrical services and infrastructure, security upgrades, complete office renovation and upgrades throughout, food service and cafeteria replacement and underground garage and hardscape interior plaza/fountain restoration/reconstruction. The project returned $5m in savings to the government and was completed and delivered on the exact day committed by original contract 7 years prior. (Services provided while with another firm)
