This project included the renovation and expansion to the existing Physical Education Building at GMU’s Fairfax campus, now called Recreation and Athletics Complex (RAC). The renovation/ expansion included the renovation of two gymnasiums and the addition of a new venue gymnasium complex with racquetball and squash courts, new multipurpose exercise and workout rooms and new locker room facilities, making this new expanded facility the campus’ primary recreation destination with more than double its original capacity.
